Work

The following posts are but a sampling of the sites I have worked on. When I test, I use all available assets in a manual process to insure requirement deliverables are met. Sometimes development milestones and tasks get backed up and unfortunately the time to deliver does not, but we do get a quality product out the door. I use the following testing protocols regardless:
- Develop a Test Plan
- Develop a Test Harness
- Ambiguity Review
- Create Test Scripts
- Execute Test Scripts as follows (as needed):
- Initial Script Execution
- Stress Testing
- Load Testing
- Functionality Testing
- Aesthetics Testing
- Regression Testing
- Smoke Testing
- Installation Testing
- Exploratory Testing
These are my tools. Here are the sites I have tested:
Originally we created the Wall of Remembrance for the shootings at Ft Hood. We modified the java and CSS to create the Holiday Message functionality. My testing consisted of insuring the following met requirements and specs; the admin of submitted messages, form fields for completing message, display of approved messages.
Most recently modification changes were made to the Opti FREE site. Updates to the imagery, flash, adding the Contact Lens quiz and rolling out the Rewards functionality. My testing consisted of insuring the following met requirements and specs; Rewards – admin, third party integration, and form field submission. Quiz – completion and submission. Flash. Additional testing tools used were Firefox Web Developer, Fiddler Web Debugging Proxy, and Web Link Validator.
A complete redesign of the website was rolled out at the end of 2008. This consisted of new CSS, java, admin features in .Net and RedDot CMS. Testing was accomplished in a fully documented iterative process. Additional testing tools used were Firefox Web Developer, Fiddler Web Debugging Proxy, and Web Link Validator.
A complete redesign of the website was rolled out in 2007, with updates since. The redesign consisted of new CSS, java, flash. Testing was accomplished in a fully documented iterative process. Additional testing tools used were Firefox Web Developer, Charles Web Proxy, JAWS and Watch Fire.
